Horror films and generally scary movies have never been ones that earned Oscars. I don’t know why. Perhaps it’s because they are mostly campy and there is only blood and screaming, with not much on the way of real acting. But some of them are fun. I’m not a fan of the blood and gore, but a good, psychological scare on a dark and windy night is always on the menu at this time of year.
