Whew, 2025 was a year! Not in a bad way! Actually, my 2025 was pretty good. God blessed us with all good things. Did we have challenges? Yes we did, but we were able to overcome them all.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS OF 2025

Early in the year, I became a great-aunt to a beautiful baby girl. She is such a delight!

We took a couple of trips. One was to Gatlinburg again, which is one of our favorite places to visit. It’s getting more and more difficult to go there without the massive crowds being there.

Another trip was just up north to visit family in Illinois. Always a great time.

Speaking of family, we hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house for the first time since we moved to Tennessee. We were over the moon thrilled to have everyone here, a few hadn’t ever been here before.

Dad gave us a couple of health scares, last year. Thank God he is doing fine, though.

I had tried my hand at a small vegetable garden and I’m happy to report that I was successful! Except for cucumbers, I didn’t have success with those. I’ll be trying again this spring.

Other than those things, it was a pretty quiet year. I’m still making jewelry and I sold a few pieces. Nothing to brag about but it made me happy.

GOALS FOR 2026

I’d like to finally get my jewelry shop up and running. I’ve been very shy and scared about doing this. Mostly because I don’t really know what I’m doing. 🤪 I plan on looking into small craft fairs, to start. We’ll see where that goes.

I’d like to lose more weight. I’m already on the path to cleaner eating. I really just need to move more, which is a challenge for me because it hurts so much. But I’ll get there. My goal is to reach 130 pounds.
