Yes, I know, it’s been a year since I last posted. Actually, I was concentrating on my jewelry-making more. I have a pretty healthy supply, now. I’m proud of what I made. Honestly, it’s hard to sell this because I love every piece I made. I do hope others will love my pieces too.

I won’t bore you all with how this year went. It was a pretty good one, if I’m honest. I started eating cleaner and lost 65 pounds that I didn’t need. Of course, that meant that I had to go clothes shopping. Happy thought!

We traveled back to Gatlinburg, TN again. My happy place away from home. We also tried a new place, located in Kentucky, called Patti’s Settlement. What a delightful place! It’s not a big place. Maybe only a weekend getaway. There’s antique shops and wonderful places to eat. Mainly, the main restaurant, which has multiple little dining rooms and a couple of larger ones, too. Each room is decorated in a different theme. I highly recommend a visit.

I became a great-aunt at the beginning of the year. What a delight, this little girl is. They spent Thanksgiving with us and she is such a happy baby. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. She’s a good baby, too. And smart. She’s hitting her achievements early. She’ll already be walking by Christmas. And she babbles and sings all the time. So very precious!
